Pathan and Iqbal Narejo Killed in Kachha

The massive joint police operation in the riverine areas of Larkana and Khairpur districts left as many as seven notorious outlaws dead early Thursday. The massive operation lasted seven hours and was led by the SSP Larkana Masood Ahmed Bangash and SSP Khairpur Ameer Saud Magsi.

The operation was conducted in the kachha area near Keti Mumtaz that connects Larkana and Khairpur distcists. Among the killed gangsters were Pathan and Iqbal Narejo both carried Rs 1 million each as the headmony announced by Sindh government. According to SSPs two wing leaders and their other accomplices were wanted in over 100 cases registered against them at various police stations of different districts of the province.

The bodies of all seven killed were recovered by police teams and were brought to the hospitals. The operation was conducted after the police received intelligence from a source. Weapons were also seized from the killed gangsters, including rocket launchers and anti-aircraft guns.Additional IGP Hyderabad Dr Jamil Ahmed in his tweet highly praised the police teams of both districts for carrying out a successful operation against the hardened criminals operating in the area for past many years.

According to SSP Bangash, they were wanted in over 100 cases and there was Rs1 million in head money being offered for each of them.

The operation was conducted after the police received intelligence from a source. Weapons were also seized from the gangsters, including rocket launchers and anti-aircraft guns. Bangash said their deaths was a big success for the Larkana police.
