As regards AS students I have asked Cambridge to reconsider the 13 month condition for taking remaining papers considering the extra ordinary situation. I am very hopeful that a positive decision will come soon, Shafqat Mehmood has said.
Basically your AS result is valid for 13 months for A2 students. If you pass this deadline for example A2 switches to October or November and had given AS exams due to this deadline being over he would have to give AS exams again. Basically I am an As student and giving AS exams, so does this 13 month rule have a thing for me or I should just ignore as it’s for A2? These are the questions which are lingering out there. Same confusion goes for CAIES. Sir, when there is Teachers’ Assessed Grading option available then what is making you that adamant for not availing that opportunity?
Alone talking to cambridge is of no use, if youre trying to provide us relief so you need to talk to all the public and private universities and colleges aswell to facilitate the students if any one appears in Oct Nov then only this option is viable otherwise it’s useless. Why do you give such irresponsible statements, their exams start today and you’re telling them you will asked Cambridge to RECONSIDER that 13 month condition, what they are supposed to do now? Pull out? and wait for Cambridge’s reply? why are you telling this to students now?
Sir you are just thinking about Cambridge examx.please Allow all the students to repeat their classes for a year in punjab from grade 1 to 5.I am a teacher and my suggestion is very fair because primary classes need acurate reading writing command. Sir what about those who opted for predicted grades last year. Would we have to reappear? These kids have study on their own during this pandemic. They are smart children will be rightly assessed by their teachers without being biased. Being an educationist I humbly request you to reconsider your decision and please opt for TAGs.
I am surprised at the low caliber and lcack of information of this PTI education minister. Man, you are education minister of Pakistan. Talk about exams by boards, such as Lahore board, Multan board, pindi board, or federal board. Cambridge is not Pakistani board so not worry about that. Dude is ready to jeopardize everything for Cambridge exams. As regards AS students I have asked Cambridge to reconsider the 13 month condition for taking remaining papers considering the extra ordinary situation. I am very hopeful that a positive decision will come soon.
NCOC (Asad Umar) is saying that Shafqat Mehmood will decide about the exams and Shafqat Mehmood is saying that medical department NCOC will decide about exams. What a joke and what a farce. Education minister can ask for student assessed grades for all but despite this pandemic, despite so many students/parents almost begging you n despite so many others telling you to take the obvious/logical route, u have stuck to exams during this deadly third wave.
Please kindly confirm something about the board students as well. This uncertainty that exams will be held or not isn’t letting us study. We hardly took physical classes and now again you’ve suspended the classes for 9-12. I m also very hopeful that the minister of education takes responsibility for the virus spread or of any unfortunate deaths of students as a result of taking these exams.
